Manage Data in a Cloud Storage with Audials

Audials

Organize your music collection on Google Play™

Tutorial on how to import from and export music files to Google Play™ using Audials

How it works

Google Play™ provides an online storage space where you can upload your music collection making it thus available from anywhere in the world and from any computer connected to the internet. Audials can make this convenience even better by offering you the possibility to connect to your Google Play™ store cloud, organize and even play your online media library without having to actually open your browser. Additionally, Audials is able to search and get for you any audio or video file that you want and transfer it to the cloud. Good news is that it works the other way around as well. Have some tracks you want to copy from the cloud to your PC? Audials can do that too!

Step-by-step tutorial on how to manage your file collection on Google Play™
Create an account for Google Play™ if you have not done so already.
Start Audials.
Click the "Export storage:" button located above the Audials playlist on your right hand side.
Choose the "Cloud storage..." option. A window containing a list with different cloud storage providers will pop up afterwards. Select Google Play™ and click “Next”.
Enter your Google Play™ user name and password in the two boxes and click "Next" again. Audials will subsequently process your file collection.
If you switch to the "Music" or "Movies and entertainment" view located in the "Media center" section you will be able to see the music and video content available both on your computer and on the cloud storage divided into four different quadrants. The files located on your PC are shown in white, the ones on your device are shown in blue and artists and albums available on both are shown in light blue.
To transfer the files just drag and drop them to either the “Google Play” or “My PC” quadrant. They will be copied and stored on the cloud platform or your hard drive.
You can also play the files by double clicking them or just dragging and dropping them to the Audials playlist on your right.
