Tutorial on how to organize your music and video collection on MP3tunes™ using Audials

How it works

MP3tunes™ provides an online storage space where you can upload your media collection making it thus available from anywhere in the world and from any computer or device connected to the internet.

Moreover, MP3tunes™ offers you the first 2GB of storage space for free. All you have to do is sign up with your e-mail address and you get an online locker where you can fit approximately 400 music and video files that you can later stream from a variety of devices: game consoles (Nintendo Wii, Playstation3), net radios (Logitech, Grace Digital, Avox, Acoustic Research/RCA, Tangent Quattro, Terratec, OXX Digital), home media (Roku, EZAir, TiVo, Chumby), mobile devices (iPhone, iPod touch, Google Android, Palm WebOS, Windows Phone 7), several web players and other gadgets.

How you can improve it

Audials can make this convenience even better by offering you the possibility to connect to your cloud storage provider, organize and even play your online media library without having to actually open your browser. Additionally, Audials is able to search and get for you any audio or video file that you want and transfer it to the cloud. Good news is that it works the other way around as well. Step-by-step guide on how to manage your audio and video file collection on MP3tunes™
 
Create an account for MP3tunes™ if you have not done so already.
Start Audials.
Click the "Configure export" button located above the Audials playlist on your right hand side.
Choose the "Cloud storage" option. A window containing a list with different cloud storage providers will pop up afterwards. Select MP3Tunes and click “Next”.
Enter your MP3tunes™ user name and password in the two boxes and click "Next" again. Audials will subsequently process your file collection.
If you switch to the "Music" or "Movies and entertainment" view located in the "Media center" section you will be able to see the music and video content available both on your computer and on the cloud storage divided into four different quadrants. The files located on your PC are shown in white, the ones on your device are shown in blue and artists and albums available on both are shown in light blue.
To transfer the files just drag and drop them to the “MP3tunes” or “My PC” quadrant. They will be copied and stored on the cloud platform or on your hard drive.
You can also play the files with Audials by double clicking them or just dragging and dropping them to the Audials playlist on your right.

That’s right! You can now organize your cloud media storage directly with Audials.
