How to download and convert videos from Apple™ iTunes™

How to record videos from iTunes and convert them to any format

*Open iTunes™ and download the desired video files from the iTunes™ store.

Start Audials.

Switch to the ”Save Video” view located in the “Streaming” section.

Click “Video Recording” if it is not already activated.

Select the profile with the desired file format from “Convert”.

Go back to iTunes™.

Play the desired video in iTunes™.

Pause the video at the point you want the recording to begin.

**Click the rectangular “Record” button which appears on top of the video.

Resume the video.

The video will now be recorded and converted. The progress will be displayed next to it in the “Save Video” view in Audials.

After the recording is complete, the video will show up in the Audials player on the right side of your screen.

You can now play the video with Audials or drag and drop it into another application or Windows Explorer to export it.

*Choose to download the video in high-definition (HD) if you own a fast computer. This way, the video will have a better resolution. However, if your computer is slow, it is recommended that you choose to download the video in standard-definition (SD).

**If the “Record” button fails to show up, close the video window, play the video again and click the “Record” button at the exact time you want the recording to begin, this time without pausing the video.

Note: If you do not want to save all the videos manually, you can always use the “Save automatically” feature located in the lower left part of the screen. This way, all the videos that are being played will be recorded and saved automatically on your computer.

Here's how it works

iTunes determines which songs in your collection are available in the Apple iTunes Store. Any music with a match is automatically added to your Apple iCloud library for you to listen to anytime, on any device. Since there are more than 18 million songs in the Apple iTunes Store, most of your music is probably already in Apple iCloud. All you have to upload is what Apple iTunes can't match. Songs with a match in the iTunes catalog are all replicated in a user's Apple iCloud library at 256-kbps quality.
