How to download TV shows, videos and movies from FreeTV™

Record and convert videos, movies and TV shows from FreeTV.com with Audials Moviebox

FreeTV™ uses a unique process that protects your videos from being downloaded directly with your browser or other such program. But Audials lets you circumvent the problem and obtain the video easily. To this end, Audials is able use screen recordings.

The process is simple: Audials records whatever is currently visible on your computer screen and simultaneously records the audio track from the sound card. For all intents and purposes, it is as if you filmed the recording with a video camera.

Start Audials.
Change to "Capture" view.
Choose your desired file format from “Convert” below.
Click the “Screen Recording” button located in the upper third of your screen. A window then appears containing a quick guide.
Click “Auto” to select this recording mode.
Open your browser (Internet Explorer, Mozilla Firefox, Chrome and Safari are supported).
Go to FreeTV.com and select the video you would like to record. Pause the video at the point the recording should start.
Click “Start” in the window “Screen capture wizard” upper left corner.
Play the video in your browser.
Audials detects the video window automatically and the recording starts immediately. Wait until the video from FreeTV™ has finished playing. Do not use your computer while the video is being recorded.
Audials automatically detects when the video has finished (if it does not, you can click “Stop” in Audials).
Wait until the video is converted into the desired format. The file’s progress will be displayed.
Audials displays the finished video on the right side in the player. You may play the video in the desired player or use the file otherwise.
