The company was founded in 1998 under the name RapidSolution Software. In 2002, the company was converted into a public limited company. Since 2003, the business has maintained a 100%-owned subsidiary in Temeschburg, Romania that serves as the company’s technology development center. The company has been trading as Audials AG since 2012.
Tunebite was released in 2004 as the first independent product of today’s Audials product line as a problem solution for music lovers and consumers of copy-protected music. Today, Tunebite is a classic with many international awards and is one of the most sought-after copy protection solutions in the world. Radiotracker followed at the beginning of 2005 as another bestseller.
Thanks to the increased expansion of development activities, Audials AG offers a whole range of additional software solutions. All functions have been available with Audials One online and from specialist retailers since 2006. The development of the Audials product line on various system platforms is now the main business area. To emphasize this, the company was renamed Audials AG.
Audials AG maintains a development center in Romania and partnerships with other suppliers in China and Ukraine. The Audials product line is distributed with numerous partners on the Internet in over 100 countries around the world and in specialist shops in Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Italy, Japan, Great Britain and the USA.
With 15,000,000 users, Audials AG – with its flagship product Audials One – is today one of the leading manufacturers of Windows software for legal digital entertainment from the Internet and for processing, managing and distributing media for PC, smartphones and tablets.
Audials AG offers partners a licence to integrate the Audials API in own entertainment systems. Furthermore the development of specially adjusted applications to (pre-) install on these systems is possible.
Audials AG develops high-quality multimedia software based on the Audials product line. These products are available as either White Label or as OEM Special Editions.
