Is there an alternative to using Win7 Media Player12?

Is there an alternative to using Win7 Media Player12?

Is there a way to configure Tunebite8 to utilize a different program other the the Win7 (64bit) Media Player12? Which, I had deleted from my computer, and I would rather not have to go through a Win7 OS Re-install. System Restore won't do it. Because WPM has been deleted months ago. The "Add/Remove" Check Box didn't restore it either. Tried that 3X's Advice appreciated. TIA.
For what purpose do you need Tunebite? I strongly believe WMA DRM conversion will not work because playback auf Windows Media DRM will not work ij any software (f.i. Napster) - so it would be of no use that Tunebite could be configured (no, it cannot). For Windows Media DRM WMP is needed in any case, there is no workaround. Why the hell did you remove WMP? It's a system component, nobody forces you to use it.

Is it an option to try installing Media Feature Pack? Just a guess...
