No. Audials 2026 is not designed for macOS (Mac OS X). There is no native Mac version of Audials, and we currently have no plans to release one.
Using Audials on a Mac is only possible via Windows:
All previous Audials versions can be used on Intel-based iMacs or MacBooks by running Windows in a virtual machine or by using third-party software such as Parallels as a Windows compatibility layer.
Intel Macs:
Previous Audials versions have been tested on Intel Macs, and the drivers could be installed without any issues.
ARM Macs (Apple Silicon):
On ARM-based Macs, driver installation can indeed cause problems, and our developers have not been able to find a solution so far. Specifically, the following features do not work on Mac ARM:
- Converter: Converting AUDIBLE audiobooks (by burning virtual CDs via iTunes)
- “Video Streaming” + “Other Source/Screen: Screen recording”
- “Music Streaming” + “Other source” + “Continuous recording”
All other Audials features, including Radio, should work without any problems.
Which devices does Audials work on?
Audials is available for the following operating systems:
- The Audials One software runs on Windows PCs
- Audials Play works on Android and iOS smartphones
