How to edit tags or trim a recorded file in Audials

You can manually adjust tags such as artist, title, album, cover image, or lyrics.

1. Right-click the recorded file you want to edit

   

2. Click Edit file

   Audials will open the editing view with editable fields for all tags.

3. Make your desired changes (e.g. correct spelling, add cover or lyrics)

   

4. Trim or export part of a recording

   You can also edit the audio itself by cutting unwanted sections:
   • Switch to the Audio tab
   • Adjust the start and end markers to remove unwanted parts
   • Optionally export only a selected section of the track
   • Click Apply to save your changes

5. Click Save in the lower right corner to apply your changes
