Install Additional Search Plug-ins in Audials

What Are Plug-ins?
Plug-ins are small extension modules that add new features to a software program. In the case of Audials, they can extend the music search by connecting to additional services.
Most plug-ins are developed by independent users—not by the official software publisher—so they offer flexibility but also require careful handling.
Installing Search Plug-ins
In this tutorial, we show you, how to easily add additional Search Plug-ins in Audials.
- Download the Plug-in Pack
Visit the official community forum and download the plug-in bundle provided by users (usually as a ZIP file containing
.aplpfiles). - Start the Software
Launch Audials on your computer.
- Open the Options
Navigate to the Options menu.
- Go to “Music Services”
In the settings menu, select the category “Music Services.”
- Import the Plug-in
Under the section “Install plug-ins to connect with further music services”, click “Import …” and select the
.aplpfile you downloaded. - Repeat if Needed
You can repeat the import process to install additional plug-ins.
