The converter allows you to convert media files to another file format, for example if you need to play back your media in specific devices.
You can use Audials One to convert your videos to music files.
How to convert a music or video file
- Open Audials, find the desired file and click its three-dot menu. Then select Improve files.
- Choose Convert in the next view.
- Now you can define the output format.
– For videos, you see a preview what your file will look like compared to the original file. You can zoom in to see what impact the conversion will have on the quality. You can switch between a selection of video samples.
– For music, you see the audio track that you can click in a desired area to choose a sample. For this sample, Audials creates a spectrogram. You can listen to the original file and the preview to compare whether you will be satisfied with the result. - Start the conversion.
If you find the preview good, you can start the conversion directly. Or you can add the file to the queue if you plan to make other improvements like video upscaling or music enhancement.
- See the converted file.
When the conversion is completed, you will see that Audials shows the original file in two versions. You will find music files in Music -> My Music and video files in Video -> My Video. Click the downward arrow to view the file versions.
All files that finished converting move from the input list to the player in the top right corner of Audials. The original file is not modified by the conversion. This guarantees you cannot destroy any file.
If a conversion result does not meet your expectations, simply convert the original file once more, using different settings.
How to convert video files into audio
Proceed as decribed above, but don’t forget to activate Convert video to audio. Then choose the audio output format. Check the preview and start the conversion or add the file to the queue.
