When you record music from the radio or music streaming services with Audials, you receive a music file with tags such as song title, artist, genre, album, year. Audials automatically sorts the songs by artist and genre. With the music manager, you can change the tags for many songs at once. Like this, you can save music treasures and quickly rearrange them in the way that suits you best. There are several possibilities for retagging.
All steps described in this article can be done in “My Music” in the “Music” navigation item.

Changing tags of a song
Audials displays a recorded song in the top right corner.

1. Click on the song so that its cover is displayed enlarged in the bottom right corner.
Then click on the pencil icon to edit its tags.

2. Now you see this view. Here you can change the title, album, etc., or assign the song to another genre. The changes are being highlighted in color.

3. In the same place if you would select ‘Audio’ you will be able to edit the song beginning and end, cut, crop, or export a part of the track.

4. When you are done editing, click on the Save or Apply icon to save your changes.
If you have changed the genre or artist, Audials will sort the song into the appropriate genre or assign it to the matching artist.
