Step-by-Step: How to Schedule a Radio Recording
1. Open the Radio Section
Go to the “Radio” menu in Audials.
2. Select a Radio Station
Browse through available stations and choose the one you want to record.
3. Create a Scheduled Recording
Click the options menu in the toolbar and select:
“Create scheduled recording…”
4. Choose Recording Type
Select how often you want the recording to run:
- One-time recording
- Weekly recurring recording
For recurring recordings, choose the weekdays you want Audials to record automatically.
5. Set Start and End Time
Enter the:
- Start time
- End time
- Recording date (for one-time recordings)
Audials will automatically begin and stop recording at the scheduled times.
Important Requirements for Scheduled Recordings
To ensure your scheduled recording starts successfully:
- Audials must be running
- Your operating system must remain turned on
- Sleep mode must be disabled
- Audials should start at least 5 minutes before the recording time
Example:
Recording starts in 2 minutes → likely to fail if Audials is closed
Recording starts in 10 minutes → enough time for Audials to launch and prepare
