Audials Tips: Smart Batch Recorder & Enhanced Music Tag Editor
Audials Newsletter December 2024
Do you enjoy watching multiple streaming videos back-to-back? Then we have something new for you: The series season you just watched can now be recorded even more easily thanks to the improved batch recorder.
Music fans can also rejoice, as editing and finding music tags is now simpler in Audials 2025. The software offers suggestions for improving tags that may not be ideal.
Our Tip: Use the New Intelligent Batch Recorder
Have you watched multiple episodes of a series or several movies and want to record them all? You no longer need to search for them again on Netflix, Amazon, etc. Audials automatically adds all videos you've watched in your browser to the batch recorder, allowing you to quickly and easily start an automatic recording with just a few clicks.
How-to: Automatically Add All Videos Watched in the Browser to the Batch Recorder
Step 1: Log in to Netflix, Amazon Prime Video, etc. You can use Chrome, Firefox, or Edge.
Step 2: Start your Audials software and open Video Streaming -> Batch Recorder.
Step 3: Now watch whatever you want in your browser. Every movie and episode you view will appear in the batch recorder. Simply click on them there to add them permanently to the recording list. When you're ready, you can start recording these videos. As usual, you can also remove unwanted videos from the list beforehand.
Step 4: The completed recordings will appear under Video -> My Videos.
Our Tip: Edit Audio Tags Easily
The music tracks you record with Audials are automatically split into separate files and tagged automatically. If you're not satisfied with the audio tags, you can easily edit them in Audials. For example, if you have an incorrect album cover, Audials will suggest alternatives. You can also add album names, lyrics, and more to songs afterward.
How-to: Edit Audio Tags
Step 1: Open Music -> My Music in Audials. Select a song or artist, hover your mouse over it, and click the pencil icon that appears. Switch to the Tags tab if it doesn't open automatically (Audials always opens the last tab you used).
Step 2: Edit the desired information for the music track, such as the album title, incorrect artist name, wrong cover image, etc.
Step 3: Save your changes. You've now corrected the incorrect audio tags.
