Annie Louey and Mohammed Magdi are comedians dating across continents. Annie is Chinese-Australian living in Melbourne. Mohammed is Egyptian but has lived in China for 11 years. Annie is still getting used to learning about her own Chinese culture through an Arab.
They first met on Love Island, aka Hong Kong. Annie returned to Australia with a long-distance relationship, a massive medical bill and 25 minutes of new material.
Meanwhile Mo stayed back in his Bachelor pad, crying into his bubble tea and scheming about how they could see each other again. And so, this show was born.

DisGraceland sees The Huxleys on a wild road trip across rural Victoria for a lurid fever dream capturing the story of two queer alien Elvis’s trying to make it home. The Huxleys embrace the camp, unorthodox presence of how Elvis would have first appeared in small-town USA in the 1950s. Rewriting the history of rock ’n’ roll as a gay love story, The Huxleys have interpreted this in their own queer cosmic fashion. The duo created these photographs and costumes to speak to their continuing interest in escapism and otherworldly glamour.

Filmmaker Naomi Ball joins us in the studio with Aether - the star of her latest short film "Who I Am".
"Who I Am" is a 23-minute documentary following a transgender teen who is also Autistic.
After being bullied at school, 14-year-old Charlie (pronouns he/him/it) finally comes out to his mum, setting him on a path of navigating the first steps of his transition – the social transition – and ultimately settling into his identity with a new name Aether. Meanwhile his mum Anthea goes on her own journey to embracing her child for all that he is.
The story is told through observational moments, intimate reflections from the whole family, and Aether’s own original animated characters, The Fallens, coming to life.
