Christina Aguilera: December, 18 1980

As a child, Christina Aguilera admired artists such as Whitney Houston, Madonna, Judy Garland and Etta James. She took part in talent competitions. Her first great success was as a singer with the song Reflection for the cartoon movie Mulan in 1998, which was nominated for a Grammy. In the same week of the nomination, Christina Aguilera got a record deal with RCA Records. Genie in a Bottle followed as another chart success. The song reached # 1 on the US single charts. Since she did not feel comfortable with the music and the image that her management required of her, she changed piecewise musically as well as lyrically.

In 2001 she sang together with Lil Kim, Pink and Mya the theme song of the film Moulin Rouge, Lady Marmalade. In addition, she successfully interpreted the ballad Beautiful written by Linda Perry. In the movie Burlesque from 2011 she is seen as an actress together with Cher.

Jimi Hendrix: November 27, 1942 - September 18, 1970

As one of the most important guitarists Jimi Hendrix has influenced the development of rock music with an innovative way of playing the electric guitar. His popularity increased through appearances at the well-known music festivals of his time such as the Monterey Pop Festival and the Woodstock Festival.

As an accompanist, he later played for The Supremes, Jackie Wilson and The Isley Brothers. During a performance in New York, he was discovered by Animals bassist Chas Chandler. Together with a drummer and bassist, the "Jimi Hendrix Experience" was founded in London. The first song Hey Joe resulted in the top spots of the hit parade. The album Electric Ladyland with, among others, the song All Along the Watchtower conquered # 1 on the Billboard charts. In Woodstock he took an acoustic position on the Vietnam War with an interpretation of the US national anthem The Star-Spangled Banner.
