Birthday

Beyoncé Knowles: September 4, 1981

Beyoncé, born in Houston, Texas, is a US singer. As she loved music when she was a child, she sang in choirs and took part in contests. That is how she became a member of the band Girl’s Thyme that was renamed to Destiny’s Child. The band’s debut song was used for the movie ,,Men in Black” (1997). Destiny’s Child was honored with a Grammy Award for its debut album.

Some years later, the members decided to go their own ways. Beyoncé released her own album “Dangerously in Love” in 2003, and the song “Crazy in Love” from this album became a hit. Beyoncé sang it with her future husband Jay-Z.

By the way, Beyoncé worked also as a movie actress. In 2018, she performed at the Coachella Festival.

P!nk: September 8, 1979

The singer P!nk was born as Alecia Beth Moore. She chose the artist name P!nk because her friends compared her with one character in the film “Reservoir Dogs”, Mr. Pink. Her parents separated when she was a child. Like Madonna, she became a disobedient child because of the problems in her family.

P!nk started her music career with two bands, who disbanded, however. In 2000, she released her debut album “Can’t Take Me Home”. Several songs from that album became chart hits.

One year later, the “Lady Marmalade” was released, a song which P!nk had worked on with Christina Aguilera.

P!nk’s last album is “Hurts 2B Human.”
