The singer and actress Madonna Louise Veronica Ciccone, also known as Madonna, was born in Bay City, Michigan. Her Catholic mother was very religious and Madonna had to pray every day, that later influenced many of her songs. When the girl was five years old, her mother died of breast cancer.

Ian Gillan is a British rock singer. In the 1960’s, he belonged to various bands before becoming member of the hard rock band Deep Purple in 1969. They released the albums “Deep Purple in Rock”, “Fireball”, “Machine Head”, and “Who Do We Think We Are”. Gillan also wanted to become a solo artist, but had no success.
