On this page you will find two chapters that can help you solve some of the problems you might be experiencing with your Hulu™ account. Best way to capture streams, download, record Hulu™ video shows and movies

Close all browser windows and start Audials Moviebox. Switch to the “Save Video” view located in the “Streaming” section.

Select the profile with the desired file format from “Convert”.

Open Hulu.com in your browser and open the video you want to record. 1) Hover the cursor over the video window to see the video controls, click the “Options” symbol on your right hand side and choose the “pop-out” option. Now the video will be played in a different window.

Go back to the Audials player and click the “Video recording” button. Choose the "Pick videos" option from the drop down menu. Next, depending on which browser you are using, click either the "Record from Chrome" or "Record using other browser/program" button.

Play the desired video on Hulu.com and click the rectangular “Record now” button which appears in the new window on top of the video at the exact point you want the recording to begin.

Do not move the mouse over the video window while the recording is taking place, otherwise the video controls will also be captured.

The video will now be downloaded and converted. The progress will be displayed next to it in the “Save Video” view. After the recording is complete, the video will show up in the Audials player on the right side of your screen.

You can now play the video with Audials or drag and drop it into another application or Windows Explorer to export it.

1) Make sure that you are running the 32-Bit version of your browser. Using, for example, Internet Explorer 64-Bit will not provide any results.

Note: If you do not want to save all the videos manually, you can always use the “Save automatically” feature located in the lower left part of the screen. This way, all the videos that are being played in your browser will be recorded and saved automatically on the computer.

Where can I find a list with all movie titles and TV shows available on Hulu?

Answer

A list of Hulu available movie titles you can find by going to Hulu.com, clicking the “Browse” button and choosing one of the options from the drop down menu: TV shows, Movies, browse by Genre, Trailers or Playlists.

How can I watch Hulu videos on my iPad?

Answer

You can watch Hulu on your iPad or iPhone if you subscribe to Hulu Plus for a fee of $7.99 a month. The free iPad app (available in the Apple Store) offers a wider variety of movies and TV shows and a higher resolution when available (720p) than the free, basic Hulu does but you cannot use it until you subscribe to the Hulu Plus service.
Another way to stream and watch Hulu videos on the iPad would be using the PlayOn software on your computer. Is there a way to stream and watch Hulu movies on Xbox 360 without the Hulu Plus?

Answer

You would have to pay for Hulu Plus to be able to stream it and watch it on your Xbox 360 but you can always sign up for a one week free trial. PlayOn software for PC is also known to enable streaming Hulu content on your Xbox 360 without subscribing to Hulu Plus but it does involve a monthly fee of $4,99.

How can I watch Hulu videos outside the US?

Answer

Using a VPN is probably the best option when you are out of the US. A VPN is a virtual connection network. It is connected to US servers through registered IP addresses in the US which allow you to access video platforms like Netflix or Hulu. Another way to watch Hulu if you are not in the US would be using unblock-us. Unblock-us usually keeps your full internet speed and is known to be faster than using a VPN. You can try it out for free for the first week and pay a $4.99 fee per month afterwards if you decide it is worth keeping.

How can the streaming video quality on Hulu be improved?

Answer

The most common problems for discontinuous videos are slow download speed and inconsistent wireless connections. Anything that you are streaming over the internet will be downsized and compressed to accommodate low-bandwidth users. First, you should make sure that your computer is fast enough to support video streaming. Second, to maximize the stream flow it’s better to avoid doing anything else on the internet while streaming. Other programs running on your computer might also add up to the poor streaming quality you’re experiencing with Hulu. Delete any unnecessary files from your computer like cookies or temporary internet files. By doing so, your computer will have more available memory for loading video streams from Hulu. If the problem persists, you can also address the Hulu support team for more information on the matter.

How can I watch Hulu on a BlakBerry Playbook device?

Answer

You just have to go to Hulu.com, click the “Browse” button and choose one of the options there; you will then see a list of available movies and TV shows which you can watch for free.

What is the difference between free Hulu and Hulu Plus?

Answer

First of all, Hulu.com can only be watched on your computer while Hulu Plus is available for instant streaming on multiple devices including internet-connected TVs, Blu-ray players, gaming consoles, set-top boxes, iPads, iPhones etc. Another difference would be that Hulu is streaming in standard definition and Hulu Plus is streaming in HD (when available). Content wise, Hulu offers up to the last five episodes that aired on TV whereas Hulu Plus offers all current season episodes from all popular TV shows. And, last but not least, Hulu.com is free and Hulu Plus is only available for $7.99 a month.
