You can use this information when searching. If you prefer, for example, a minimum bit rate of 192 kbit/s, Audials will only display stations that broadcast at 192 kbit/s and higher.

No radio recorder cuts music with more precision than Audials

Some Internet radio stations inform about the songs they’re currently playing in their broadcast streams. These are, however, often quite vague. Other stations provide no hints at all. This is a serious obstacle for traditional radio recorders, which as a result can only record from specific broadcasters—and that, for the most part, with an irritating lack of accuracy. Not so with Audials.

Unique state-of-the-art-technology

Audials uses an intelligent, audio fingerprint technology named PerfectRadio to analyze the audio signal itself and recognize each song with exact precision. This not only makes it possible to cut each song track down to the millisecond (thus avoiding "reporter blabber"), but also—more importantly—makes it possible to save individual songs from stations that don't embed any song information at all in their streams.

The perfect cut

Thanks to PerfectRadio, the beginning and end of each track are cut with the highest possible precision. Advertising and program moderation are for the most part eliminated and—in case it's necessary—blocked out to the greatest extent possible using the configurable fading function. And after your recordings are complete, Audials automatically normalizes their volume level to fit gracefully into your music collection. There’s even an integrated audio editor on board to handle the rarest of touch-up needs.

Using an integrated transcoder, Audials saves all the music tracks you record in the uniform format you select—for example as MP3, WMA or AAC audio files—independent of the broadcasting format.
